Last one ! I promise  ... After downloading & Choosing the new car model ... the Siren works fine but the lights don't ?

Are the cars ELS-enabled? If so, you need to download ELS ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>) Read the user manual carefully to make sure you understand this advanced lightning system. 

Downloaded & followed the installation guide ... once the game inside was loading i instantly got a "GTA IV Has stopped working" error 

Do you have both xlive.dll or dsound.dll in your game directory? If yes, remove one of them. Are you running the game as administrator? 

I only have xlive.dll , I removed Scripthook.dll ( Maybe it's this ) 

 

& Yes the game automatically runs as admin.

You will need Scripthook.dll. 

Did you ever save while on duty, or saved while having a modded car in the car parking slot? 

I just removed Scripthook.dll & the game now works fine ... Seems fishy.

 

& no i never saved, it starts brand new ( Not saving yet until i get these issues fixed )

When you installed ELS, did you overwrite any files? Also are you running the game as admin like this? Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.

At first i was asked to skip or replace files ... i may have yes , & Yes both clients are running as admin.

Do you have the steam, or a retail copy of the game? Sometimes Steam causes issues when launching. 

Yes i have steam , why?

Do you launch it via steam? If yes, launch it from the root folder instead. 

No i never launch it via steam , i launch it using "LaunchGTA.exe" as admin.

Did you make backups when you installed the car mods? It could be one of them. 

No i didn't ... Oops.

Ah, that's unfortunate. Follow this guide to verify the game cache in Steam for GTA IV (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335). It should redownload the original files. Try the game after that process is done. 

This is a fresh start ? so i'd have to dl LCPDFR again and everything right? 

Scripts would still remain, as they are not affected by Steam :)
